The AKD team continues to grow as we welcome our latest recruit, Steven Inglis.
Steven joined us in April and got to work straight away at our project at St Mary’s Primary School in Leith, Edinburgh.
He first applied to join us three years ago. Although he wasn’t successful, he was determined to be part of the team. He has since gained much more experience and we’re now delighted to welcome him on board.
Meanwhile, we’re on the lookout for a suitably skilled and experienced electrician to work from our Crewe office*. The successful candidate will serve our nationwide contracts with clients such as Dulux Decorator Centres, Johnstone’s Paints and Menzies Distribution to name a few.
Our tie-in with South Cheshire College has also been a big success. Recently, it has helped us bring in two talented young apprentices, Liam Hammond & Cameron Young.
In Scotland, we’ll have two apprentices qualifying this year. In Edinburgh, Josh Hartley sits his final test in early May and we’ll be looking to keep him in the AKD family.
Also Arryn McGuire in Glasgow, whose final test is later this year.
